Filipina nurse with valid work permit detained by ICE at Phoenix airport

A Filipina nurse working at a Phoenix hospital's acute-care telemetry unit was taken into ICE custody at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Her family says she held a valid work permit and has no criminal history, and they remain unaware of the reason for her detention. Her boyfriend, who set up a GoFundMe for her, said her immigration case has a court hearing scheduled for September 4.
