A Venezuelan man identified only as Y was stopped by immigration officers at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, who he said would not tell him why he was being arrested or accept his proof of a judicial order expressly prohibiting his deportation to Venezuela. Four days later he was placed on a deportation flight to Venezuela, but was deboarded just before takeoff after ICE officers admitted they may have made a mistake.
