Sep 8, 2026·Location: Danville, PA

Federal agents returned to the area of the Geisinger Medical Center construction project on September 8, beginning arrests around 6 a.m., according to immigrant-rights advocates. The Centre County Rapid Response Network said eight people were detained in this second operation, following the earlier September 2 arrests connected to the same construction project. Some detainees were held at Clinton County Jail, and advocates linked the arrests to a broader workplace enforcement surge.
