Court Orders ICE to Follow Flight-Risk Requirements in Arrests

A federal court in Colorado ruled that ICE violated statutory requirements by arresting individuals without warrants and without conducting individualized flight-risk assessments as required by law. Four plaintiffs who were arrested despite having community ties and stable lives sued immigration officials including DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. The court granted a preliminary injunction and provisional class certification for similarly situated individuals arrested without proper legal procedures.
