Undocumented immigrants held in undisclosed Colorado ICE detention facilities
Mar 3, 2026 · Colorado

The ACLU of Colorado reported that ICE has detained thousands of people at nine facilities across Colorado without proper oversight or transparency, operating in violation of the agency's own internal policies. ICE later confirmed the existence of these undisclosed hold rooms located in strip malls and office parks, where detainees, including children, have been held for weeks at a time without disclosure to neighboring businesses or residents.
