USCIS raises asylum, TPS, and work permit fees for 2026

USCIS announced inflation-based fee increases for several H.R. 1 immigration-related fees, effective January 1, 2026. Increases apply to the annual asylum application fee, employment authorization documents for asylum, parole, and TPS applicants, and the TPS application fee. Some related fees, including the base asylum application fee and Special Immigrant Juvenile fee, remain unchanged.
