San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee was detained for about an hour at Los Angeles International Airport while arriving from his native South Korea ahead of a scheduled Giants FanFest appearance. His agent, Scott Boras, said the detention was to resolve a paperwork issue and was 'not anything political,' suggesting Lee may have forgotten a document. A spokesperson for Rep. Nancy Pelosi said her office worked with the Giants, congressional partners, and federal liaisons to help secure his release, after which Lee was let go.
